About Franke Sinks

Sinks
- Cleaning
Stubborn stains on Fragranite sinks can be removed using biological washing powder or a concentration of dishwasher powder (sometimes left overnight). Diluted Bleach may also be used but not allowed to dry on the surface. Other proprietary cleaners such as Bar Keepers Friend or Shiny Sinks for stainless steel are also recommended.

- Cut-outs
Except when specifically advised always use a 20mm radius at the corner of the cut-out.

- Punching tap holes.
Always punch or drill from the top. Measure to find the centre of the pre-punched tap hole required and cover the area with masking tape. Using a centre punch, crack the glaze in the centre of the required hole. Using a number eight masonry drill, carefully drill a small pilot hole from the top. NB. Only drill one small hole. You can then proceed to enlarge the hole to the required size by carefully using your hammer with the centrepunch.
